Case Study: Anne Barge Inc.
Client Overview:

Anne Barge Inc is an award winning and world renowned international wedding gown designer. Anne Barge’s gowns can be regularly seen on the wedding channel, In Style Weddings, Modern Bride, and in Town and Country magazine. Anne Barge’s gowns have also been featured on the CBS Early Morning Show, and was the winner the 2003 NBC’S Today Show Wedding as voted by millions of viewers. Project Challenge:

The Anne Barge Company wanted to implement a new, more modern, and upscale website design that reflected their overall current business direction and preserved the company’s unique brand identity. The company also wanted to fully automate and integrate many of their offline and traditional marketing efforts into a simple, streamlined, and manageable online application that allowed for results tracking.

Solution and Application:

We first designed and developed a fully customized and more upscale online presence for the Anne Barge Corporation. Our design team worked diligently to strike the perfect balance between the new design and the preservation and consistency of their existing brand.

Secondly, we wanted to create an interactive solution that afforded visitors an opportunity to receive a more thorough and detailed view of the Anne Barge’s collection of wedding gowns. Therefore, we developed a fully interactive flash wedding gown gallery that allows potential brides to zoom in and control multiple views of any particular gown in extreme and great detail. We also implemented a fully integrated flash window that allows for the uninterrupted viewing of runway fashion shows from their entire archive. Due to our unique compression techniques, we were able to stream all Fashion and Runway shows in full and with exceptional quality. This strategic implementation is intended to visually educate the consumer in even greater detail about the Anne Barge product. We also developed an interactive flash-animated store locator that allows customers to visually locate stores more effectively and seamlessly. The overall goal of this phase of the project was to generate more qualified and educated leads that are at the commitment level or greater stage of the overall buying process.

Finally, after completing the primary infrastructure and framework, we entered the online marketing and consolidation phase of the project. The goal of this phase was to gather and consolidate many of the company’s offline marketing strategies and efforts into an online solution. Therefore, we carefully developed an extensive and fully integrated database solution that allowed for the client to manage, update, and control most customer information. This solution also allows for highly graphical and customized emails to be sent automatically to a certain segmented group or demographic. The set of segmented parameters include such sets as location, recent purchases, or buying process stage.

Overall the new Anne Barge website and solution addresses many of the issues associated with website consistency and overall functionality. The internal cross marketing efforts of the company has been streamlined to more effectively communicate and manage day to day marketing and the consumer database.

Results:

Since the implementation of the new website, the Anne Barge Corporation has experienced an overall increase in the number of qualified leads and general online inquiries. The company has also experienced a greater conversion rate of their online marketing efforts by implementing our database aided opt-in marketing interface and campaign.
