The Atlanta Drumline has been featured and is a regular performer at the Atlanta Hawks and the Atlanta Falcons home games. The Atlanta Drumline was the featured halftime performance on the 2005 Monday Night football home game between the Atlanta Falcons and the New York Jets. The Atlanta Drumline has also been featured in major motion pictures such the 1999 hit movie “Drumline” and “Pay the Price”. Project Challenge:
The Atlanta Drumline needed a multimedia corporate solution that reflected and showcased past performances and provided biographical information about the group. The Atlanta Drumline also needed the infrastructure to be able to at some point accommodate an e-Commerce solution and an events calendar. The company wanted a minimalist and uniquely simple design that captured the spirit of the city of Atlanta and the overall feel of the collegiate band experience.
Solution and Application:
Our design team focused on providing a unique and corporate multimedia solution for the group. We first designed a multimedia interface that displayed the video and sound clips from the groups past performances. This multimedia solution also consisted of an enhanced photo gallery that displays highlights and photography from past events. A fully customized e-commerce infrastructure was built from scratch.
Results:
The Atlanta Drumline has validated itself as one of the city’s most premier entertainment and performance groups in the city. The company has experienced a 45% increase in booking and online inquiries since the initial launch of the website. The Atlanta Drumline is also expecting to implement the next phase of the web development solution which will be a full scale online traffic increasing and online customer conversion strategy developed exclusively by WebSpace Atlanta.
